Seth has left Anna and she is heartbroken, trying to get over him she throws herself into learning how to control her magic and also discover more about her past. As she starts to dig a trail back people start to get hurt and even killed, what does she have to sacrifice to learn the truth and who is behind it all. And most importantly why do they want her? This book is the longest of the series so far and it felt it, I would be reading and thinking I had done at least pages but had in reality only read about Something about this book just seemed to drag, there is a lot of build up and back story that slows it down again, but it is padded with action and more exciting events. Her pining for Seth also irritated me a bit - either do something about it or move on.

Unfortunately she was pretty much dismissed. Ending was terrible, the a witch alone ruth warburton was terrible. Secondly, I felt like I was reading a soap opera. I tried to love it, like I loved the other two, but there were a lot of issues with this book. This twisty, clever book surprised and delighted me. There is a slight love triangle element to this book in that Abe, which we have known since the last book, has definite strong feelings for Anna and in the absence of Seth has complicated things.

I cried a lot in last two chapters. There are many moments that give you pause to think as Anna watches as more and more people she loves get caught in the crossfire. Love how normal she is but also with that real inner strength and need inside herself to do her best by her family and friends without being warbutron.
The first half of the book is really not very interesting. I think I felt every emotion possible within the final few chapters that concluded this trilogy. Anna is still pining for Seth even though she tries so hard not too. Goodreads is the a witch alone ruth warburton largest site for readers with over 50 million reviews. Thing I did like though is how it ended, it had a nice proper ending that tied things up to some extent.

Silver and Stone, The Bloodlines Series. As the conclusion of a wonderful series, A Witch Alone has many moments that broke my heart. No, cancel Yes, report it Thanks! Another rarity in the written world, a series with a concluding book thats better than the first. Quite honestly this is a girl you could actually be friends with. A Witch Alone has Anna facing all of her fears and warbuton about herself, her life, her heart aloe her mother. Thirdly, she was a terrible daughter to her father.

However, the beginning and middle were quite good. Warburton does a brilliant job at building the tension in this book, and slowly revealing what is really going on as well as the truth about Anna and her mother. As such, there are a LOT of revelations that occur in this book and all of them took me by surprise. As I mentioned earlier, I found Anna at her least likable in this book.
