This grade of GYLON is suitable for use with strong acids not hydrofluoric , solvents, hydrocarbons, water, steam, chlorine and cryogenics. GYLON Style and Style Blue GYLON are composed of aluminosilicate microspheres, suitable for use with moderate concentrations of acids and some caustics, hydrocarbons, solvents, water, refrigerants, cryogenics and hydrogen peroxide. The Style is additionally NSF61 approved for oxygen service. It has been developed to provide excellent resistance to high concentrations of caustics, which are commonly found in the pulp and paper industry.
It is suitable for use with strong caustics, moderate acids, chlorine, gases, water, steam, hydrocarbons, cryogenics and aluminium fluoride. This type of GYLON gasket is suitable for use with strong caustics, strong acids, hydrocarbons, chlorine and cryogenics. The GYLON Style has similar high compression characteristics, and is suitable for use with similar media as the A soft, deformable exterior conforms to surface irregularities, while the stable blue core improves cold flow resistance. A low bolt-load requirement means that a tight seal can be achieved on glass-lined or imperfect flanges, and the direct sintering of GYLON layers prevents leaks and adhesive contamination.
This type of GYLON gasket is suitable for use with moderate concentrations of acids and caustics, hydrocarbons, solvents, cryogenics and glass-lined equipment.
We can CNC cut and waterjet cut gaskets to meet your exact requirements. We can also supply an adhesive backing to all grades of material.
